Album Notes
Dixie Leadfoot is red hot rockabilly! Fronted by Suzannah Harris (former vocalist
for Frank Zappa and Steve Vai) slapping upright bass and singing lead vocals. Nate Harris (Minor Authority, Poison Politix, Mad Dog & The Smoking Js, The Living Deads) wails on guitar and backup vocals and Mike Brown (seasoned and veteran Denver-based drummer) drives the beat on drums.

This EP features guest guitarists Chuck Hughes of the Hillbilly Hellcats (on Heels on Fire) and Jinx Jones (on That's What We Do). Bob Harris/piano on Rollin' the Dice.

Drum recordings and mixes on all songs except That's What We Do by Brian McRae at The Wreckingroom, Lyons, CO; Jinx Jones' guitars recorded at Bone Crusher Studios, Petaluma, CA, engineered by Steve Counter; all other tracks recorded by Bob Harris at L2C (Live to Cassette) Studios, Denver, CO. Produced by Bob Harris & Suzannah Harris.

Rockin' Therapy Radio

RTR review
First of all, I should say that not many people know these 5 songs, and hearing them helped me to recover my memory as I love Rockabilly very much. This trio with Suzzannah Harris as a leader reminds me of the pioneers of the 50s, for its wildness and freshness. From the first note you can hear this authentic sound, which shows that this band is not trying to sound as some stupid labels. Dixie Leadfoot & The Chrome Struts, are pure Rockabilly and we want more, because these 5 songs left me with withdrawal syndrome.
