ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Chef Pnutz has cooked up another batch of fresh funk on her new album “The Breakmaker”. Our first course features “Make It Or Break It”, a powerhouse introduction to a jam packed album dedicated to the dancers. This initial offering is but a mere amuse- bouche of what is in store and is also featured on the accompanying vinyl. Up next we have “B-boys will B

Boys”, another flute influenced anthem that is sure to have the b-boys and b-girls begging for seconds. Follow that up with “Snakes”, the other track on the companion 45 rpm record. “Snakes” offers a haunting melody that will linger on the pallet and leave you craving more. Heavy on the drums and on light of the filler “The Breakmaker” doesn’t leave more than a moment to catch your breath. Littered with tasty vocal tidbits between foot tapping basslines, the album is a playful presentation of dance floor delight. Close out your experience with a little “Dub for Dessert”, a refreshing palate cleanser that doesn’t skimp on flavor. Chef Pnutz delivers a complete package on “The Breakmaker” which does not disappoint from soup to nuts.
