Album Notes
david is well-known as a 12 survivor of a malignant brain tumor that was supposed to have killed him in 6 months. His amazing story of hope and survival has been shared with and inspired thousands of fans all over the world. If you are reading this here on CD baby, you are also learning that david is a prolific songwriter and keeps a relentless tour schedule across the nation and the world in support of his multiple CD’s. The more you get to know his music, the more you will learn of the many sides of david: survivor, yes, but also poet, philosopher, theologian, comedian, activist, husband, father, friend, and lover of all things coffee. This Presbyterian, passionate, fully reformed, liberally conservative peace-loving hippie-folksinger will wow you exotic guitar licks, but also inspire you with words you only wish you’d written yourself. Take the time to browse, listen, buy a couple CD;’s, visit his website, www.davidmbailey.com, and odds are before long, he’ll be in your area and you’ll be a fan of the music and the man. Thanks for stopping by – Keep on!!

David continues to grow, harvest, and serve up a healthy, yet surprising menu
Some surprises for me, I loved Church soup..... which is the yellow pages rap. David's fans will find this to be a new, yet familiar collection. This is good morning music, while you get dressed, and eat your breakfast. It is not turn it up loud while you clean the house like a few of his collections.

David's songs crawl under your skin and reach your soul.
Truely a grifed song writer. Love all his CD's.

The music was beautiful and my CDs arrived promptly and in pristine condition. I always feel safe buying from CD baby and that my info is protected. This CD had a lot of meaning because I just lost my husband of 33 years to gastric cancer March 28, 2007. When David performed at our hospital's Cancer Survivor's Day several years ago, Ronnie and I, as well as the guest, really enjoyed his music. He reminds me so much of James Taylor, but it's his joy for life that is so meaningful. Pam Bishop

Heart & Soul
I really cant say enough about David's CDs... here's the heartfelt love of God with the honesty of the emotions and at times questions many of us struggle with in our walk and in our churches (for example, the poetry of Church Soup)... I feel we've been really blessed to have a number of tracks from this CD airing on our mission radio station up here and I only regret that in my leaving I won't be able to get more of this stuff out to more people. (Thanks, David!)
