Album Notes
'Out of the Storm' is the third CD by David Michael Carpenter. Very much in the theme of 'Jesus Rules' His new CD is a breakthrough in Christian cross-over sound. There is a powerful theme throughout this CD about spiritual breaktthrough which comes through when you hear the whole CD from start to finish. There is the usual great swing in styles from very contemporary U2 sounds to Blues and Retro-rock that make this CD a real treat. David Michael Carpenter plays all the instruments and does all the vocals and does the recording and engineering for all the songs involved. Each CD is a hand-crafted bit of art. There is no dependance on the high priced Rock Industry machine to get something done quick. Each song is worked on until it is 'right'. Sometimes that comes quick and sometimes it takes a long time. Out of the Storm was 6 months in the making and is nothing like you have heard before. No matter what your private beliefs are you will be moved and challenged by Out of the Storm.
