Album Notes
David Michael Carpenter is a fast rising singer/guitarist who has combined the best of the music of the last 30 years into something for right now. There are no boundaries in his writing and playing. He plays all the instruments, sings, produces writes...the whole thing. It's uncompromising and it's for people who listen deep and want to be moved and challenged and not just have something going in the background. You've never heard stuff like this before from the searing riffs in 'The Rev' to the amazing peaks in 'The Wind'. In a world that is filled with people sounding like other people this is someone that dares to sound like himself. Be the first on your block to reach 'Inner Space'. Great guitar tracks, huge sweeping instrumental tracks that suck you out into space, deep emotionally gripping songs about real love, McCartney like acoustic guitar peices that remind you of Abbey Road and the Beatles White Album. This is by far the most risky CD of the first four to date and deserves a good listen. Painstakingly recorded and pieced together like a fine work of art. Remarkable stuff, give it a listen.
