ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The third album in as many years, Gaudeamus by the Dominican House of Studies celebrates major themes of Dominican life: the Eucharist, the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, preaching, the saints, and praying for the faithful departed. Recorded at the Franciscan Shrine of the Holy Land in Washington, D.C., this album features a variety of styles: Dominican chant, polyphony, modern choral works, and even a number of original compositions by the friars.
