ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
THE DONE ME WRONGS were born in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, in the summer of 2004. It all began as an innocent, bourbon-soaked, country-kitchen-jamboree that eventually gave rise to sixteen train-riding, breakin’-up-in-pick-up-trucks, santa-claus-ain’t-comin’-to-town songs that were looking to find their way into the world. Thus DONE ME LIVE came kicking and howling its way into being.

The founding members of THE DONE ME WRONGS (Bill Bridges, Karen Graves, Cam Macduffee and Nicole Underhay) met while working at The Shaw Festival - Canada’s best and brightest theatre festival. In a dingy little bar in the basement of The Royal George Theatre (affectionately dubbed “The George”) on October 24th, 2006, we surrounded ourselves with musical ringers from all over southern Ontario and invited 150 or so of our closest friends to come join us in making music magic. We decided on a live recording just to keep the stakes high.

Let the magic into your home. $15 bucks. 16 songs. It’ll do you right.

Saw The Show... Heard the CD... Absolutely Great!!
I was fortunate enough to see the show that this CD evolved from. A magic night that is beautifully captured on this disc. Great performances of great songs and best of all....LIVE. Some of the finest alt. country you will ever hear.

Worth traveling 2000 km to see
I flew in from Halifax for one night to see this show. I just had a feeling it was not to be missed and I was right. They describe it best - smokin' bourbon smoked country - old school re-interpreted. The CD is stellar, but to see them live is a whole other thing. It's not just a gig - it's a show - une grande spectacle de joie! Buy the CD and demand a live tour!
