Album Notes
NOTHINGHEAD is the 'Kings sixth release. The music is self described as FAPLUNK music, the Donut Kings own brand of a great mix of musical and non-musical influences. They sing about many subjects from roots rock topics like cars, and girls to food, beer, rotten teeth and something about Chuck Yeager riding a tricycle.

A Brief History:

The Donut Kings formed in 1986 with core members Nate Crowell on drums and vocals, and Rikk Desgres on bass and vocals. The Donut Kings had a high turnover rate of guitar players until 1991 when ex McKnickNix Bob Haberern joined. In 1996 the boys released No Evacuation Possible, and in 1999 FAPLUNK was born. In the past nineteen years the Donut Kings went from a garage band pumping out originals, yelling and screaming vocals to a seasoned band that has matured musically, but still can kick butt with the best of them. Some people have called them late bloomers, others kind of liked them all along, but with the release of NOTHINGHEAD it's clear to see that the Donut Kings are still having fun and making great music.

In 2007 the Donut Kings added a second guitarist Marty Irizarry and released "Seven." Check that out right here on CD Baby!
