Album Notes
Doug is a proud performing member of the Western Music Association. He owns and lives on a cattle ranch (the LIB) in the heart of New Mexico in southern Torrance County, just north of Claunch. It is a very remote setting where he enjoys spending time with his ranch neighbors, his dog Harley and living each day on the right side of the ground in its open spaces.

Doug’s easy listening songs, mellow voice and memorable lyrics makes his music stay with you all day. His talent brings New Mexico ranch life alive and his CD is a must for any country music lover. I hope to hear more of his wonderful original songs in the near future.

Just Great Music
On a road trip through New Mexico, my brother and I stopped at a local hotspot, and were quickly interested in the music we could hear coming from the back. We enjoyed Doug's music so much, we hung around long after our drinks were up, and didn't leave empty-handed. Doug has a beautiful, rich, yet not overbearing voice wonderfully suited to the style of music he plays. Some artists today feel the need to intimidate an audience in order to get them to appreciate the music, but Doug's music is very welcoming, heartfelt, and reminiscent of an older style I really enjoy. My brother and I both very much like this CD, and look forward to hearing more of his music.

New Mexico Ranch Songs
Having grown up on a ranch in New Mexico, listening to Muchmore takes me back to another world. His songs bring back many fond memories of horses, cattle, chores, branding, fixing fences and windmills, pine trees, pinon campfires and nights with stars so bright you couldn't count them all. I look forward to getting back to listen to you play live and maybe making a trip to the hitchin post saloon. Keep the music coming Doug!

Music and lyrics that are heartfelt and accessible, this singer-songwriter echos the hard-earned respect of his ranch environment with memorable warmth and ease. The listener conjures up dreams of curling pinon woodsmoke campfires and the steady footsteps of legendary horses mounted by true New Mexican western heros. Take an enchanted trip with Doug thru the ranch he calls home with this enjoyable CD.

Doug's music
Real genuine American music. I was visiting New Mexico from Alaska and me and my sister stopped by a saloon in White Oaks. When I heard Dough Muchmore playing in the back, I could really feel that good New Mexico cowboy spirit and his music made me want to stay for a while.
