Moo. Thud.

Retro pop with whiffs of surf and bubblegum. Bouncy guitar and rolling bass, paired with nervous lyrics, this collection is the suburban and urbane introduction to Down Cows' own Rich Dairy Sound.

Album Notes
In 2005, Bay Area denizens Brian Anderson (guitar), John Meyer (bass), and Mike "Tooch" Tuciarone (drums) needed a distraction from their desk jobs, coffee, and commutes. Drawing from each other's music collections and quirky observation, Down Cows emerged.

"Moo. Thud.," their debut EP, is a three-song collection of pop gems introducing the listener to the retro-pop trio's self-described "Rich Dairy Sound." Drawing from the readily familiar (shades of Warren Zevon, Jonathan Richman, Barenaked Ladies, and Fountains of Wayne abound), Down Cows creates retro-tinged chorus-and-verse stories of eccentric acquaintances, collegiate dalliances, and sexual discovery.
