Dr. Williams founded Mount Zion Fellowship (formerly Brethren Fellowship of the Savior) in 1982. The first meeting was held on the fourth Sunday in December 1982, leading up to the first service in January 1983. There were 15 persons in attendance. In 1991, the Church’s name was changed to Mount Zion Fellowship. Currently, membership is approximately 3000. Mount Zion Fellowship was built under the oversight of Dr. Williams. Its mission is to preach, teach and live in a way that encourages the salvation of souls through faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through Dr. Williams’ preaching and teaching, as well as through the many ministries of Mount Zion Fellowship.

Mt. Zion is a teaching church, seeking to educate all of our members in the truth of God's Word, Holy bible and to equip our people with the tools necessary to do the work of God's ministry through us.

We are an inclusive church. All persons of every race, national origin, economic condition and geographic location are welcome to attend and participate in our worship service and to seek membership here.

Mt. Zion strives to be a positive, loving church whose fellowship center's on the person and work of Jesus Christ. We hold to the high moral standard of the Holy Bible, and we encourage our members to have a positive and beneficial influence and impact on the moral life of their homes and community
