I Dropped My Ice Cream on the Ground

by Dr. E

This second album by Dr. E (and Friends) explores the challenging joys of parenting and being a kid. Set against the backdrop of 90's inspired beats and Dad jokes, the music tackles big issues like "'what to have for dinner" and "dropped ice cream."

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
As an educator and parent of two, my goal for this project was to explore and express feelings and emotions through light hearted stories and real-life situations. Everything is relative - The sadness of a child dropping an ice cream cone to their utter joy of eating macaroni and cheese after a long day of play are comparable to that of many adult concerns. This album is meant to honor those feelings and to help children and grown ups connect through music and the simple pleasures of life.

A special shout to parents, educators, doctors, counselors, and all who give their hearts to raising our youth. This is a reminder to keep your light shining as you care for others.

Everett Louis Ph.D. aka Dr. E
