Album Notes
"Selfie Absorbed" is Funny Folker Drew Jacobs third full length CD. Featuring originals like "There's An App for That" and "If 50's the New 30" and parodies including "Nearly Seventeen (Janis Ian) and "You Ought To Throw Those Clubs Away" (The Beatles), there is plenty to laugh about. He's been called "Jerry Seinfeld with a Guitar" and "An adult Weird Al". At the end of the day, Drew's look on modern life is fun for comedy music lovers of all generations.
Drew has won two major songwriting awards (USA Songwriting Contest 2011, SAW 2015), and performed at funny music festivals in NYC, Philadelphia, and Chicago along with a 2011 appearance at SXSW in Austin.. He's performed throughout the Northeast and his songs have appeared on Sirius/XM radio, and radio stations across the country.
