ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

Bhagavadgita is called the song celestial. One who learns Bhagavadgita, knows the way of life. It has 18 chapters.
Every verse of the Bhagavad-Gita is a mantra, full of spiritual potency. The very sound of these mantras purifies and liberates the soul. In India many people attuned to spiritual life recite a chapter of Bhagavad-Gita every day. (It takes only five or ten minutes.) Others recite all eighteen chapters, others at least a few verses. However much one recites, the sound of these mantras has a purifying effect.
And now, with this CD, you can listen & pronounce these mantras easily. You can chant them, listen again & again to them, even memorize them, and benefit from their Sound—the same Transcendental Sound by which Lord Krishna enlightened His disciple Arjuna thousands of years ago.
This CD, Vol 3 has chapters 13 - 18 which is called Trtiya Shatkam- the third six. The essence of the whole work given in the first six chapters is elaborated in the second and the third shatkam. The 15th chapter called the Purushottama Yoga describes the supreme source of this universe. The 18th chapter called the Moksha-sannyaasa-yoga describes the difference between sannyaasa & tyaaga. The actions of selfless service without expectations and anticipations will not bind us and that is called liberation.
It is a learning CD which helps anyone, anywhere in the world to learn just by listening, an ancient tradition in India called Shrutiparamparaa. Listen & Learn CD helps to memorize easily without any effort.
