Album Notes
I am happy and proud to release the new album “Unconventional Phenomena” by my studio group Dr. Nick and the Wah Wah Boys. The great blues-rock guitar player Paul Plumeri has joined us this year to create this highly imaginative project. I would like to share my thoughts with you regarding the experience and the songs we are presenting to you.

Song one--”The Bishop’s Blues” I requested Paul Plumeri to play the blues in his style and he created one of the best blues songs in history.

Song two--”Confidence” This song exudes confidence with the fabulous drumming of Kofi Baker and lead guitar of Paul Plumeri.

Song three--”Adrenaline” This song takes you to another level. The level of speed and rhythm will capture your imagination.

Song four--”The Maverick” The feeling of being unorthodox in your attitude and ideas epitomizes this song.

Song five--”Utopia” I love this song. The calm feeling of ideal perfection flows from Paul Plumeri’s guitar.

Song six-- “Innovation” A little psychedelia in this powerful musical interpretation of feelings and emotions.

Song seven--“Woodstock Dreams” I challenged Kofi to create my arrangement of this very long drum solo. The purpose was to remind me of my Woodstock weekend in 1969. This is a Kofi masterpiece!! This song is for drum lovers. I call this drum meditation. I also exercise with this solo. This is drum heaven.

Song eight--“Julianna” This romantic rock ballad written by Michael Gallant is the perfect song to end the album. It is one of my all-time favorites. I asked Michael to give me a beautiful soft piano version of his song and he delivered it perfectly. Nirvana!

I want to thank all the players of Dr. Nick and the Wah Wah Boys for their contribution. Their talent is the best.

Producer Nick Rossos, 2016.
