*Special thank you to: Mom (Evonne Rogers) – for so much more than I could ever write here; and Susie Gerald & Kenny Ruffin – for your exceptional support.

"It’s always a thrill to get one’s hands on an impressive album that no one knows about, and 'This Side of the Green Arrow' is a gorgeous collection of soul-stretching songs. This is an album that listeners can dig into like a good book, with a menagerie of influences and approaches...of the many highly-hyped albums that rose and fell in 2006, it’s a shame that 'This Side of the Green Arrow' got overlooked."
- Charles Martin, Indie-Music.com

"The album is...rich and deep, always compelling you to take a bit of a chance. Singer/songwriter blues-pop that doesn’t fit in one particular genre or another. Lyrically it’s interesting and intricate. Check it out."
- J-Sin, Smother Magazine

"...tranquil piano and acoustic guitar, discreet percussions, but there is an underlying tension. Contributing to the somber and tense mood is Daniel Rogers’ lead vocals…reminds me of Roger Waters…[the album] is very well produced and the performances and compositions are very good…Daniel Rogers is a musician to keep an eye on, for sure."
- Marc Roy, Proggnosis.com

"Rogers has a very good voice; conveying emotions small and large alike easily and with a great deal of professionalism... the album has an excellent production."
- Windhawk, ProgressiveEars.com

"...expert use of piano as both rhythm and lead instrument...Rogers' voice alternates between a soothing rumble and devastating wail...'This Side of the Green Arrow' benefits from Rogers' hypnotic voice and thoughtfully-arranged sonic buildups...there's plenty for just about any fan to listen for."
- Mohan Karulkar, Openingbands.com

"The whispering singing and interesting instrumentals blend together to create a very unique album. 'This Side of the Green Arrow' is definitely a challenging album, and definitely worth picking up for any avid Beck fans."

Mellow, Relaxing, Different!
After hearing Daniel Rogers unique voice and music on the Hoodwinked soundtrack, I checked out his website and bought the CD. The music is great for relaxing and candlelight, but after a while your eyelids are going to get heavy. Don't drive and try to listen to this CD! On the plus side, Rogers' voice and style of music is unique and interesting, his voice soothing and passive. On the downside, there is a track in the middle of the CD that is just a bunch of sound effects or studio noise? Anyway, check out the CD!

I just got done listening to this CD around 20 times. The music has travelled to CD players in my house, office and car. I cannot get some of the tunes out of my head, from the catchy but compelling "Future Man", to the sad and beautiful "Irrigators". His lyrics appear genuine and his voice, heartfelt. It is amazing how comfortable Dan Rogers transitions musically throughout the entire CD while maintaining thematic continuity. Simply beautiful.

Haunting and mesmerizing
Each song is so layered and nuanced - this is an artist debut that is so impressive that I will recommend it to everyone longing for gorgeous lyrics, unique riffs and studio virtuosity. A must buy!

Inspiring, rich, depth, true
What to say about this CD. Inspiring, rich, depth, true! Somehow after listing to the words and music I feel touched very deeply and less alone. The music and lyrics are complex, original, daring, and outside the box. It makes me want to write some music too. Who ever doesn't buy this CD is missing out. You go Dan!

Engaging and beautiful debut from an amazing songwriter.
This is a dark but beautiful debut CD from an amazing Ohio artist. The voice alone could force an emotional response from the dead. Blend that with some creative home production and crafty musicianship and you're looking at an amazing product. My advice.......buy now!!

An astounding find! It has such a timeless quality about it. A strange, beautiful mix of retro and progressive. Sit back and let the images fill your mind.

If it's possible...
for something to be simultaneously sexy and earthy, this album is it! A terrific range of musical and everyday sounds come together and evoke a matching variety of emotions. It's wonderful instrumentation coupled with a lead voice that's incredibly clear without compromising expressiveness. hot, Hot, HOT and cool, Cool, COOL!

Pink Floyd: The Second Coming
Dan Rogers makes music that is daring, outside the box and almost like aural wallpaper you can SEE floating out of your speakers. From the first groovy vocoder voice on cut #1, I knew I was in for a magical musical journey. I really like Dan's ethereal sound and look forward to finding new ways to use it in my film soundtracks. Nice work, Dan.
And by the way, CD Baby is a really FUN distributor. I don't think I've ever laughed at a shipment confirmation email before.

Awesome stuff. I can listen to the entire album without having to skip tracks. Not many artists can that for me. I LOVE IT!
