Album Notes
This band knows what the cusp of rock music holds; and they know how to execute it. The proof is in their self-produced EP, Trainwreck. Starting with a psychedelic exploration before launching into the funky and hard rockin’ “Always Enjoyable”. Dropping Sully then flexes their inner California soul with the Steinbeck inspired lyrics of “No Utopia”. They follow up with their gritty and funky single “Shine”, which looks at the idiom of “rub some dirt on it”. “Ruby” gets head’s bobbing as it tells the story of the American Dream gone slightly askew. “Acid Fiend” is a true story of a looking for love in the back room of a strip club. Finally, “Headed Home” ends the journey with an acoustic rocker that's an ode to where they're from.
