Album Notes
Yoga Nidra is the ancient yogic method of entering deep sleep while remaining conscious. In this state, there is no thought, just awareness of pure Being, silently watching both mind and body sleep. The yogis use Yoga Nidra to gradually dissolve the subtle boundary between deep sleep and the deepest states of meditation, and in the process obtain a somewhat deeper rest than even our deepest sleep allows. In this way Yoga Nidra also helps both body and mind to heal themselves.

The intention of this recording is to guide you through the exercises that lead to the state of Yoga Nidra. These exercises systematically relax each of the layers of your being (the sheaths or koshas).Once these sheaths are completely relaxed your mind is ready to enter the state of Yoga Nidra itself.
