Album Notes
Drumattica started as an experiment in Electronics and Tribal drums with Keith Brown (TV:616) and Brian Lehfeldt (TV:616,Sweaty Nipples). Eventually Drumattica turned into a full blown band with the vocals of Robert Wynia (Floater) and Jennifer Folker (Dahlia) and DJ Slowburn.

Drumattica combines elements of trance and 80's genre New Wave with tribal drums and pop hooks. Picture Peter Gabriels Last Temptation of Christ with the Chemical Brothers meets The Doors and you've got the idea.

The band has just released it's first full length CD (A Part of Something) and plays sporatically in the Northwest. The live shows bring even more power and punch to the music, creating an almost hypnotic state of ecstasy.

Very unique sound with great vocals
I think Rob Wynia's vocals, as usual, are terrific, and it was very cool to hear them put together with a techno/electronic beat. Also, the lyrics are fantastic throughout. I especially enjoy Empire (track 7) and Remedy (track 11 with Jen Folker). Overall, I really like how Rob was able to change his singing style on many of the songs to where each song sounds so unique, and the CD is great for driving!

Well, Drumattica rules
I never thought i'd own a techno cd but i do now and am quite in love with it, but if Rob wasnt in there i dont think id listen to it, Floater is like my favorite band of all, but anyway yea very good job on Drumattica it rules ass! Heh oh yea, weed's so great heh heh...oh my

Love this CD!
I love this CD - the music, the lyrics, the voices. I would recommend this CD, especially if you like Floater.

Buy this!
I got this CD because I like Floater. I'd never heard of Drumattica before, so I had no real expectations of what it should sound like. This disc did not disappoint me. Robert's vocals take some getting used to with the electronic music, but once you get it, you're hooked. Buy this album!

Totally tubular :)
This absolutely kicks a$$! Love Rob's voice with the electronica. Musically, it is complex and entertaining. Jennifer has an ethereal quality to her voice, which lends itself perfectly to this musical style. This disc reminds me of so many bands (KMFDM, Peter Gabriel, Talking Heads, Skinny Puppy, Sarah McLachlan with Delerium..etc..), but is also very original sounding. Perfect!

Floater lives on !!!!!!
I was blown away! This is exactly what I've been craveing.Especially from the likes of Floater. However I feel that some Screaming is necessary. In order to touch the hardcore CINEMA fans of yesteryear. We're out here and we are still hungry.

Excellent to clean house to!
This album is great for cleaning house, driving the car, riding the bike--well, anything! Between Rob Wynia's fantastic lyrics, Jen Folker's beautiful voice (alongside Wynia's) and the tribal drumbeats, this album is a sensual masterpiece. I love it and can't--won't--take it out of my stereo.
