ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
An Anthology of Sorts is the result of a year of remixing, remastering and recording fifteen of Dr Wippit’s best songs. Four of them were recorded with The Kenilworth Project at Gremlen Studios in Aurora, five of them are a combination of tracks put down on an eight track analog machine in the nineties with brand new guitars, vocals and keyboards on top, and the rest have been written and recorded over the last couple of years in Dr Wippit’s home studio. While Dr Wippit is known among his fans for his guitar playing and the passion he brings to his vocals and his live performances, it’s his song writing that has consistently gotten airplay for his bands, even back when the only way to get your music to somebody was with and envelope and postage. The digital age has given him a chance to put a polish on these songs that wasn’t an option before, and the opportunity to get them to music lovers the world over. But don't take my word for it....

“..there’ isn’t a “one man band” band out there right now that can go toe to toe with Dr Wippit insofar as vibe and pure musical mojo.”
- Rory Richardson, Skope Mag (Feb 13, 2013)

“If he just so happened to write all these songs well he could be bigger than any of us realize at the moment.”
- Drew Blackwell, Grateful Web (Feb 11, 2013)
