ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Based out of Lake Charles, LA, Dub Habitz is the solo project for session bassist Nick Montou. The style is a sweet blend of reggae-dub music with an added influence of various genres that allow listeners with an easy listening experience and provides something that everyone can enjoy. "Dreaming About Tomorrow" is the debut instrumental album of Dub Habitz and it was recorded in Nick's home studio, where he recorded all the parts (except for drums on tracks 2,4,5,8. Recorded by Trey Newmiller) Nick also mixed and mastered the album. "This album has been in the works for over 5 years. It's been a test of time, challenges, life changes, growth, doubt, inspiration, up's and down's of life and through it all, this is the end result that I feel is the music that means the most to me", says Nick.

Thanks:
First, I give all thanks to God for allowing me to see another day in this gift of life. I'm blessed to be able to share my gift he has graciously given me. Thanks to my beautiful, wonderful and patient wife for always standing by my side through everything. She is my rock and without her, I'd be nowhere. Thanks to my sweet, precious daughter Kaylee Grace. Dada loves you and you have been a constant source of inspiration since the day you were born. You mean the world to me and momma and we adore you so much! Thanks to my family for their love, support and encouragement. Without them, I would have never been a musician in the first place. Thanks to all my friends that encourage me to strive for being a better musician, and friend. Thanks to Robert "Bubby" Lewis for recording the melody solo on the track Saratoga bass duo. I appreciate you Bubby! I'm thankful to all the bands that I am able to work alongside with over the years and consider them family. This album is dedicated to my wife Stacey and daughter Kaylee. Y'all inspired the love that was created within the heart of each of these songs. I love y'all more than you know!
