ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Dub Sutra is the project of husband and wife super duo Chris and Charlotte Proud, and their worldly array of poets and guest musicians. With years of experience and extensive research on the effects of sound healing, Dub Sutra’s music combines modern sound technology with ancient vibrational healing techniques to take listeners on a cosmic journey and stimulate a positive state of mind.

"All is Love is All" is Dub Sutra's second full-length album. Compiled as a continuous and flowing experience, the album is designed to guide listeners on a musical journey through sacred sound utilizing waves of bass, downtempo breakbeats, dub reggae and vocal mastery. Modeled after nature's cycles of wakefulness and rest, this album, much like their first, guides you through gentle awakening, to active flow and back to calm reflection.

Dub Sutra is deeply honored to have worked with an all-star cast of artists and musicians in the creation of this album including poet, Maya Angelou; vocalist, Priya Deepika; rasta poet, Ian Mair; flautist, JM Aladeen; and spoken-word artist, Tiger Moon. Each artist brings a unique flair to the music while maintaining a smooth flow from one track to the next.

Dub Sutra’s first album, “The Rise of Downtempo” creates a blissful state of mind with an hour long continuous mix of inspirational downtempo electronic music that takes you on a journey akin to the style of Pink Floyds’ “Dark side of the moon”. The video for their song “Song on the Wind” tells the story of a modern day man finding freedom and peace in a connection with the spirit of nature. Through music and visual art, Dub Sutra is creating a divine experience for all of the senses.

The goal of Dub Sutra is to create a harmonious sound space with intentional music to guide listeners on healing journeys, and they certainly achieve that goal with their recordings and live events. In 2015 they were the #1 Bestseller on Yogitunes and have performed live for many amazing hosts including the Yoga Rocks the Park national tour, Core Power Yoga Studios, Lululemon Athletica and the Deepak Chopra Center just to name a few. Having performed at many visionary arts festivals focused on the spirit of yoga and music together such as Envision Festival in Costa Rica, Hawaii Yoga Festival, Sedona Yoga Fest, and Lucidity Fest, they have shared the stage with many popular artists such as, Snatam Kaur, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Ayla Nereo, Human Experience, Desert Dwellers, Govinda, and more. In 2014, Dub Sutra was also featured in Spirituality & Health Magazine with a stellar review of their first album and will be again in May 2017.

Dub Sutra’s music has been described poetically as: “An angel is calling you from across the waters of your own soul. A gentle blessing is reminding you to embrace reality as a dream.” Whether you are practicing yoga, meditating or simply welcoming a wave of peace into a busy day, Dub Sutra invites you to enjoy the wholeness and grace of the musical moment.
