At the age of 4 Durmond taught himself how to play the drums and had it mastered by the age of 9. He served faithfully as the church drummer until the age of 22. It was then when Durmond locked himself in a room and taught himself how to play the piano. He has shared the stage with various artists such as Tye Tribbett, Dr. Bobby Jones, James Hall, The Clark Sisters and Troy Sneed to name a few. He has written and recorded with Sunday Best Finalist Serena Young and worked production in the recording studio with the talented Debra Killings and Grammy award-winning engineer Alvin Speights. He has gone on to co-produce, write and arrange his hit single “Undefeated”.
