Album Notes
"Walkin in the Light" was written right after the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing with those victims in mind, as well as parents of children who have been injured or killed in recent public school shootings in America. Now, in 2015, it is dedicated to the Christians killed while praying in church in Charleston, SC. "Walking in the Light" was released for survivors who have been left traumatized by such horrific tragedies and crimes against humanity. This inspirational song written from a Christian standpoint is about how we cannot let darkness overtake us as we walk in the light through the triumph of forgiveness and faith. The families in South Carolina have shown us this testimony, and this song is now for them.
