Album Notes
This is a collection of stories told by way of song. Some are about specific events, like "How The Wind Did Blow" and "Danger On The Road," some are more about an idea, like "The Civil War Song," while some address our humanness like "The Tail of the Wind" and "Comin' Down From Telluride." I mostly just let the songs come through me and don't try to interfere. I do hope you like them. Peace. Eagle McCall

Eagle McCall
Eagle McCall is a very talented songwriter and story teller and his guitar solos are great! I am very happy to see his CD being promoted and I look forward to his next release.

The Spirit of "76
It's time for some new Country music with poetry and a new musical voice. This is it! I don't know what I like best. The words are thoughtful and original, the music is relaxing and meditative and Eagle's voice is like a velvet glove. Whether your focus is the lyrics or the instrumentals this CD has something for everyone.

Voyages for your mind
Several years ago, after hearing several of McCall's songs, I asked him if he got delayed applause when he played in public. He answered, "Yes." No wonder. McCall's music will take the listener so thoroughly to different places and times, that they need a few moments to return to the present, and then they applaud. So will you. With the sesquicentennial of the Civil War upon us, McCall's Civil War Song will scarcely be equaled, let alone surpassed for its depiction of the pathos and tragedy of our nation's most traumatic event. The guitar solo, Walkin' on the Sun-- hot title for one of the coolest pieces of guitar pickin' you'll ever hear. I can't wait to see where he takes me in his next CD.
