Album Notes
John Earle is truly a solo performer. He performed every vocal, every instrument on his latest album "Seize the Night."

John Earle is not just an acoustic singer-songwriter. He's a drummer, a pianist, a talent of many other instruments, with an appreciation of what college-aged people want to say and hear. Influenced by indie rock along with past and present singer/songwriters, his sound is an appropriate mixture of John Mayer, Matt Nathanson, Ari Hest and Dashboard Confessional. John Earle performs at student level, singing about situations surrounding today's college scene. Covering a broad range of topics, he writes about leaving behind adolescence ("My Youth"), romantic remorse ("Romantic Atheist"), and reaching into the nocturnal ("Seize the Night.")

John Earle began his ascent into the musical world with classical training on voice and piano, while also learning drums, bass and especially guitar. Raised in Jacksonville, Florida, he played in many different bands, from experimental indie rock to modern rock genres. After years of successfully performing in Jacksonville, John Earle was called to play bigger and better with an acoustic under his arm to an audience he related to in every way. An active college life of his own has inspired his latest solo project.

John Earle understands what issues are compatible with most listeners. Along with his individual chord structures, diverse rhythms, insightful lyrics, and a passionately emotional voice, his songs are capable of inspiring many more cities than just his hometown. A passion for music, an insatiable hunger for performing live, and for once the talent to back up the hype... it's the life of John Earle.
