Album Notes
From the liner notes....

I'm not gonna try to impress you with a reason why. These songs are the reason why. There just ain't no other reason.
'Cept maybe there was a banjo on hand,
and an upright bassist up the street,
a small town Emmylou a few blocks away
two talented cats from some central PA rock band crashing at my place,
and one helluva fiddle player over in the next valley.
Plus it was winter and there was no place to go anyway.
Winter is a good time to make a record. You're not missing anything outside, unless you love the cold.
None of us do.
Having a recording genius for a close friend helped.
Microphones materialized in my living room, plugged into a laptop in in the kitchen. Or was it a toaster?
Kids were asked to please keep quiet and someone said we were rolling.
Count to four and back for the reason why. These Songs. - EP
