Album Notes
The Earth is reminding us, as all good mama’s sometimes must, to Pay Attention.
The title song was inspired by my imagined conversation with Chief Seattle, Rachel Carson and St. Francis of Assisi. They even suggested the Motown beat and backup singers! And they asked me to remind you to sing along.

We live in a season of great change on Earth. Climate disruption is triggering water shortages and flooding, glacial melting and deforestation, ocean changes and unusual species migration. Only by “paying attention” to the information the Earth is communicating to us in our every day lives and routines, can we learn to work with the ecological systems so that we may all live in greater peace and harmony with Earth.

Each of these songs is my snapshot of one aspect of our challenge in this era. Earth Literacy training taught me to include the global and the personal – from my backyard to the moon. I hope you find joy, inspiration and encouragement in these songs. Thank you for your support of my music and all you do for our Amazing Earth.

Pay Attention!
Listened to this album as we drove several days cross-country. What a delight. The miles flew by. I especially loved "Pay Attention" "And Everybody Else" and "Enough is as Good as a Feast." Fantastic, lyrics, melodies, and values!
