Album Notes
"Soft Green Exit" is the musical debut of Earthphish. Dark and yet seductively sweet, the songs enwrap the listener with Aleksandra Mirjana Crossan's melancholy, sensitive voice. The lyrics are rather unusual and are inspired by the singer's dreams. The creeping synthesizers and the scrambled rhymes from Donovan John Szypura are ominous and at the same time vulnerable. The music tempts the listener to an escape route, away from reality and into a mesmerizing dream world of its own.

The background of Donovan John Szypura is quite remarkable, he worked with renowned musicians like Matthew Ashman (Adam &The Ants, Bow Wow Wow) and Tom Fischer (Celtic Frost, Apollyon Sun), those very people who defined Punk Rock and Death Metal.

Earthphish is a living arena for music and dance, a unique symbiosis. At its core composer Donovan John Szypura and singer/choreographer Aleksandra Mirjana Crossan release albums and create contemporary dance pieces performed by "Earthphish Dance".

This inspired duo has much potential; and taking into account particularly their gifts for directing and production, we can expect a lot from this group in the time to come.

Just chilling...
Some of these songs remind me of Tricky and some of Lamb, but the sound is still unique. It has a "dark" touch to it, and the mood of the CD reminds me of later Sneaker Pimps. It's a great CD to play while you're just chilling inside on dark nights!

SUPER gut - so we say in Germany!
I heard at first only some few pieces of the songs trough a website - this made me curious on the whole cd and it was definately a great decision to make the deal! Great songs, a little bit skew but exactly the right amount between skew and interesting to make it different and not mainstream! Wonderful CD!

one of those unique albums, that cannot be described as one particular genre. for all fans of female vocals and interesting music its a must ! for others too =]

Soft Green Exit = Undeniably HOT Album
Not too many cds out there that you can buy and literally listen to every track - over and over and over again. Aleksandra's vocals are fantastic and the overall production is insanely clean and professional. Hard to pick favorites, but "Complicated" hit me right in the heart and then "Nuclear Star" sent me on a total power trip. The radio needs more Earthphish.
