ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
EAST, a musical group formed in 1996 under the Rainbow Park Music Entertainment label that uses the Ocarina (a small, clay flute) to produce sounds that are inspired by nature. Ocarinas have been familiar in many parts of the world since ancient times. From this musical instrument, lovingly held in his hands, EAST KIMURA creates a vivid sound. Harmonized with a piano, guitar, bass guitar, synthesizer, drums, and percussion, his music is played out in sometimes powerful and sometimes delicate notes.

"BIRTH" is the 1998 debut album - expresses the "joy" we feel in everyday life as a human. It guides you to find the swallows giving us new hope, feel the wind of spring, the birth of new life !

Over many years, we have brought joy to people who have attended our concerts in both Japan and Korea. Now, we hope you enjoy it !

Love,
EAST
