Jazz done right.
If Jazz was a waterfall ...
The arrangements, the playing style remind me of Bill Evans if he played guitar - and of Vince Geraldi's nostalgic warmth. This trio does exactly what the album says - it Hears and Listens - and most of all just intuitively f eels- they play off one another weaving a gorgeous tapestry and truly breathing new life into the chosen standards . It's got its own style and its own edge. The drummer and bassist are amazing and of course with Ed at the helm you can't go wrong.. The album speaks for itself - highly recommended.!
