ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Had a key around my neck. Floated on the Dead Sea and listened to REM through the desert. Watched the cats at Hemingway's house through the Banyan trees. Played roulette in Monaco, Casanova in Greece, fool in Amsterdam. Received college diploma, don't know where it is. Tried office and corporate things.... ended days with angst filled screams.

Was a movie star in Iowa.....you never saw it? Bought a guitar. Chased love down to Cape Town. Saw penguins, giraffes, and shanty towns. Thought I was dieing. Depressed. Waited Tables. Moved to Hollywood. Waited Tables.

Tried to act and tried to act cool. Had an epiphany Feb 2, 1997. Grew and learned much. JUST FLOWS. Took the show on the road. Free. OK, I guess this is who I am. Drifted around. Moved to Arizona, 2000... MOVING. Stephanie. Songs, Cave Creek, Golfing, Touring, Poker, stability, Vermont, home in Maryland, Jeremiah. Car died in Raton, NM.

Got married...got a dog....bought first home.

Made New CD in summer 2007 called Without Blue dedicated to my son Jack Elliott born in January 2007. Attempted another (its on the shelf) in summer 2006.

Eddie Elliott is soooooo hot and his music is great too
I saw Eddie Elliott at Poor Davids Pub in Dallas, Texas a few years ago. I bought his CD at the show and then lost it. So believe me I was so happy to have it back. I will be getting his new CD sometime soon.

When I listen to this CD, I hear such a variation in Eddie's voice and music. I hear REM, Dave Matthews, Neil Young, Tom Waits, early Jimmy Buffet and many more. Mostly I hear passion, heart and soul. I get a feeling of contentment. When I listen to this CD, I get a smile on my face and a feeling that everything's going to be okay.

Congratulations!
We met somewhere between "dying and depressed". I always knew you'd make it. You have a very special talent and I am thrilled for you! Remember that the music is great, but your family is what matters most! Keep them close to your heart always.
Congratulations! I knew you would make it...

Phenomenal from beginning to end
I saw Eddie open for Shawn Mullins at the Cactus Cafe in Austin. I hate to admit that I didn't know him beforehand, but he had an awesome set. I bought this CD, and it is solid. One of the few albums you can listen to straight through without having to skip around to find your favorites. I can't recommend it enough!
