Album Notes
Boston's Eddie Japan have marched across the last half-dozen years as one of the Northeast’s most acclaimed bands. Accolades include a crown in the prestigious 2013 Boston Rock & Roll Rumble, a 2013 Boston Music Award for 'Live Artist of the Year,' their 2015 single “Albert” appearing on the popular music video game Rock Band 4, a tour with Martha Davis and the Motels, and stages shared with The Fixx, Midge Ure, Will Dailey, Kingsley Flood, Air Traffic Controller, plus many more. In July of 2017, the cinematic pop band released their highly anticipated debut full-length album, Golden Age, co-produced by Greg Hawkes, keyboardist for the legendary Boston band The Cars, and 2018 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees. Golden Age was nominated for a 2017 Boston Music Award for 'Album of the Year,' and in 2018, the band received New England Music Award and Boston Music Award nominations for 'Pop Artist of the Year.' Eddie Japan plan to release a new album as two EPs with the first set to drop in June of 2019.
