"Luck of an Angel" excerpts from press at CD release.

Fans of the late, great Eddy Lee (Bullington) of Red River, N.M., will no doubt be thrilled by the release of "Luck Of An Angel", the last compilation of his career.

Locals can celebrate the albums release, Friday, June 12, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Sagebrush Inn in Taos, NM and Sunday, June 14, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Mountain Treasures in Red River, NM. Popular area musician Don Richmond and his band The Rifters headline the Taos event, while Fritz Davis and other Red River musicians will entertain guests in Red River. A third release, also headlined by Richmond, is planned in Alamosa CO, June 19 at Milagros (corner of Main and State Sts.), 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Lee who lost his life to bi-polar disease in 2006, was a life-long musician. From the time he was a child in Houston, he showed a love for playing, singing and composing.

"Luck Of An Angel" features new songs by Lee and others with fresh tracks performed by Lee - several are his composition, others were either co-written by Lee or penned by others. The Album is the result of hard work by Richmond, Lee's former band-mate and friend, who did studio work and mix and graphic artist Wiz Allred, who's album cover features Lee as sort of a country-fied angel. The CD includes an 8-page foldout with photos of Lee's life and career, as well as excerpts from tributes friends and fans made on Lee's website following his death.
