ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Edis has been singing and playing professionally for approximately twenty years, drawing on her 12 years of “on the road” experiences, writing songs about friends and lessons learned. She plays acoustic twelve and six string guitars, with a blues and folk sound, originals as well as covers. A regular around Bozeman, Montana, she is known for her heartfelt lyrics and soulful, powerful voice. She also plays in the band Textbook Blues, where she really belts the blues and plays rhythm guitar, as well as percussion. Her debut album, Fly Me Away, which was produced by Rob Kohler and recorded in Bozeman, has been favorably received. Each song is a journey into another aspect of life, love, and the freedom nature can bring.
