Album Notes
New Hampshire native Ed McGee was a longtime Ohio singer-songwriter and rhythm guitarist, touring nationally for nine years with Ekoostik Hookah and another five years with One Under before moving to Colorado in 2011. His songwriting is inspired by lyric-rich influences like The Band, Sting, and Mark Knopfler; his guitar playing ranges from thoughtful and melodic to aggressive and intense, always moving way beyond simple strumming.

In 2018, he released his first solo project album "Alexander III And Other Stories" featuring performances by hookah’s Steve Sweney, Ward Scott of The Shantee, Pat Kenney of One Under, and other carefully selected musician friends.
After relocating to beautiful Vermont last year, Ed recorded his second solo album, "The Life In Their Bones", an acoustic collection of older, unrecorded favorites from his deep catalog.

Ed McGee continues to write and perform music in New England, and still travels regularly to the Midwest for performances, solo acoustic as well as full band.
