Album Notes
E*I*E*I*O*...est.1983 ...the most joyous chunks of randy rock & soul on either side of the midnight hour... ...A dynamic collection of locomotive rock & twang... -rolling stone magazine. ...by turning down the pretentious introspection, cracking up the fun, and infusing their records with sheer exuberance, they are strictly a cut above the competition.... -spin magazine. The huge success of their CDs , Land of Opportunity, and That Love Thang, left an indelible mark on the independent music industry. This lead them out on the road touring with and influencing some of the worlds biggest bands while songs like Cecelie, and Tear it Down burned their way up the charts. E*I*E*I*O* members strive to make the music as accessible and enjoyable as ever. With a style considered by many as a cross between country, blues, punk and old time rock and roll, labels like roots rockers, and alternative became synonymous with their name. To their benefit E*I*E*I*O* remains on the rock and roll side of the cross genre, and their staying power lies within their talented writing and their high caliber of musicianship. With their long awaited 3rd CD E*I*E*I*O* just release in summer 2007, fans continue to pack the venues where ever they perform. Come see why E*I*E*I*O* is one of the best bands to ever emerge from Middle America.

Time Stands Still
I got their first two albums when they orignally came out. I've listened to both of them continually since then. This band is one of the most understated groups of the last two decades. Listening to their albums is like listening to a live performance. And this album is no exception. It's like time stood still because they always sound fresh. This is a really fun album. All of the songs have a really great energy to them especially "Ain't She Square", a really catchy tune. I especially like "Dust In Your Heart". These guys are melody makers. You don't hear enough of this kind of music anymore. Most new bands are drones and background music for bad horror movies, putting the "ick" in music. E*I*E*I*O is a REAL band.

Welcome Back!
I first heard EIEIO at the Minnesota State Fair just after their first album came out. I fell in love with them and their music...such great singing and catchy songs. I bought their second album and EP and was sad when they essentially 'went away.' So, needless to say, when I heard about their new release, I bought it as soon as I could. And it is fantastic!! Again, great singing by Steve along with catchy, driving songs like they used to do and are known for. I play their new CD a lot and it never fails to make me feel good. I just love these guys and their music and no one should be disappointed by this new CD of theirs.

20 years waiting
Great overlooked band from the beginning of "roots rock" back in the 80's. Band sounds great - rocking, twangin' guitars, and Steve Summers voice still packs a wallop! Rock 'n' Roll Legs is a excellent rave-up! Recommended!
