Album Notes
Elaine & The Cimarron Sky Band have been performing classic country and bluegrass tunes for over three years. Performing a once a month residency at Albert Music Hall in Waretown, NJ, this is the band's second live album of fan-favorites from those shows. Featuring the lead vocals of Elaine Orzechowski, the Cimarron Sky Band performs the songs of the classic ladies of country music, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and more, as well as more contemporary singers such as Little Big Town, Nanci Griffith and Karla Bonoff. The Cimarron Sky Band brings their three & four part harmony vocal arrangements to traditional bluegrass and gospel songs, as well as the instrumental talents of Brian Rauch (banjo, mandolin, electric & acoustic guitar, harmonica - and the occasional lead vocal) and David Donley (fiddle, mandolin, penny whistle). Mark Donley holds it all together on upright bass, and Elaine plays rhythm guitar, with all four providing vocal harmonies.
