Album Notes
The distinct sound of “El Chino y La Diferencia” Orchestra is clean, crisp, tight, disciplined and modern.
The members of his orchestra are the best latin musicians living in Italy, as you will learn from the prologue to their solos in “Chupito Jam” or “Gabriel Blues”. La Diferencia’s musical director and bassist is Peruvian Rodolfo Guerra who took care of all the arrangements of this magnificent album. You can listen to one of his bass solo’s in “Guapo Na’”.
Adolfo Indacochea and I have decided to include the voice of New York singer Frankie Figueroa and a version of Ran Kan Kan with the special participation of Tito Puente, Jr.
Gabriel Delgado “El Chino” can be very proud of his orchestra and his men.

Great band and arrangements
Great band and great arrangements but it should let the guest singer Figueroa to perform on all songs. Understand that it is his band but Chino should only do chorus and direct the band. There are many good singers in NY that Willy Torres knows. The Tres Marias being the best song.

This is a critical but honest feedback.
