Album Notes
Electric Elf is neither made of electricity, nor are they technically an elf. Still, the name fits. Starting out opening for the Black Keys in 1994, the Electric Elf were one of the only non-entities to be present for the going out of the Beatles at Candlestick in '66 in San Francisco in California. They taught Nick Drake how to be sad, Macca how to be saccharine, and Michael Jackson how to dance. Never did get to see Prince live, but wow were they wowed by him. Now's your chance to hop on this electric night train to nowhere, or somewhere, depending on your perspective. Time to shine!
Come on out and lend a light.

Electric Elf has been working on these songs for more than a decade, and they are finally ready to release. Once too afraid to perform in front of anyone except abandoned buildings, trees, and to the undersides of bridges, they bravely sat in a studio in front of people and made the songs become. Pulling in influences ranging from Bob Dylan, Neil Young, the Beatles, Nick Drake to the Allman Brothers, Country Joe & the Fish and Little Joy, Electric Elf believes in songwriting, lyrics that aren’t placeholder, and kickass musicanship!! One day they’ll get there. In the meantime..
