Album Notes
Village Voice: "Live, Skye wears her heart on her sleeve and Reiners plays the hell out of his telecaster”

Santa Monica Mirror: “Skye & Reiners don't file down the rough edges and their music has a whisky wallop to it.”

No Depression Magazine: “Demolition String Band offers a blend of rock, bluesy ballads and pumping country songs
written from the view of a tough, vulnerable and resilient woman…”

Billboard Magazine: “Demolition String Band’s members are across-the-board connoisseurs; master instrumentalists,
lyricists and entertainers while Skye is a vocal treasure.”

With a truly memorable and unique collection of songs, Elena Skye and Boo Reiners with their Demolition String Band love to thrill a sweaty dance floor with dangerous Telecaster work atop their muscular rhythm section, or pick and sing old-school around a single microphone, juggling banjo, mandolin and guitars while weaving rustic, taut harmony vocals with tall tales and truth, joy and heartbreak, despair and redemption.

Skye and Reiners have been collaborating for almost 20 years and marking their journey with numerous releases and countless miles on the road in the USA and Europe. "I Wait For The Light," is the latest collection from this partnership, all written by Skye with Reiners adding his arranging and production skills to the effort. Also appearing on the album are longtime musical compadres Kenny Soule on drums and bassists Winston Roye and Mike Santoro with engineering, mixing and mastering by Scott Anthony, John Siket, Tom Beaujour and Sean Kelly.
