ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Born in Puglia and raised in Rome, Elena is a young italian singer that brings an unique and fresh style to her stories. A personal way to create landscapes, describe emotions and situations, in a dreamy atmosphere. With her voice, Elena combines jazz tradition with a modern contemporary sound.

Elena has developed a unique, fresh style, a personal way of telling stories where the virtuosity of Francesco Poeti and the lyricism of Domenico Sanna, supported by the solid rhythmic section of Fabio Sasso on drums and Luca Fattorini on bass, just perfectly synthesize her musical thought. Very different personalities guided by a unanimous spirit and the idea of leader to create new sounds and new narrative shapes. The group moves in this direction, although maintaining mutual creative spaces and multifaceted musical souls, always creating new worlds of sound, thanks to new original compositions, seemingly distant but that touch and unite each other, filtered through the strong personality of Paparusso.
In her voice and in her notes she combines the most profound sense of tradition with the most modern and contemporary sound; The purpose remains emphasizing the tune, to come to a great simplicity of listening, thanks to the immediacy of of the feelings recounted, supported by an incisive compositional talent.
