ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
It's a compilation of pieces of music from different genres and styles that has been a significant musical influence in my music journey. It goes from classical, jazz, gospel and even sometimes merging through them. Some of these tracks are adaptations and others arrangements in the 6-string electric bass. It's an Only-Bass Album, no overdubs, just one take.

Amazingly beautiful bass performance!
It's unbelievable what a great instrumentalist can do with a sole bass. In each song, I hear melodies, harmonies, and rhythm altogether, in a journey that goes from Chopin, all the way to Miles Davis (going through some gospel, funk, and Latin American folklore). The technical virtuosity and the arrangements are amazing while the interpretations have so much feeling and life My favorite ones are the Vals #3 and the Chopin's prelude #28. Beautiful stuff!
