Album Notes
I'm going to be honest - "Who We Were" is very sad. The main reason for this is that I'm usually an emotional, tearful mess when I write a song! When I'm happy, I usually spend my time walking around with a stupid smile on my face!

I wanted "Who We Were" to tell a story, so I was careful in selecting the songs and the order in which I put them. "Who We Were" is a story of love, heartbreak, change, memories, frustration, desperation, trying to return to the past, letting go. I really don't want to sound corny, but it is a story of a love that just wasn't meant to be.

Despite the songs being quite sad, I really enjoyed writing them and had a great time recording the EP. I hope you enjoy it and see the songs as 'heartbreakingly beautiful' rather than 'downright depressing'!!
