ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Dolores, Colorado was a good place to be a boy all those years ago. I count high among my blessings that I was raised there among the people who populated my life in the shadows of the mountains that formed the landscape of it.

I learned the traditional songs from the characters who lived them. And, that our music is as much an artifact of living as are the clothes we wear, the buildings we build or anything else ultimately left behind.

So welcome to my offering; a tribute to the history, the characters and a way of life and living that is fading all too quickly. Please share my joy at having passed through there and rested for a time.

"It's a lucky man with a high country wind blowing through his soul" -- Ellis Miller
