Album Notes
Emma Graves has been part of the NYC and Brooklyn Folk Music Scene since the late 1990s, though she has been making music and leading sing-alongs since she was a small child. Some highlights of her musical life include:

Playing churches and with Habitat for Humanity Youth groups at a young age
Active involvement with Pete Seeger's Clearwater Festivals and NYC Friends of Clearwater
Jack Hardy's Songwriter's Circle
Performances at NYC's People's Voice Cafe
People's Music Network
Many Woody Guthrie Celebrations
Jalopy Theatre and School of Music

A Little Bird (On a Hawthorne Branch) is her third published album, though she has also appeared on various compilations (usually live) for folk music organizations. She was once a part of a folk duo called "Rooster & Ree", now, she spends a lot of time with her young children and enjoys hosting folk music sharing events and sing alongs for folks of all ages at libraries and community gardens.

Emma's aim in this project is to share her simple, gentle music that you can just sit and listen to...or that you just may want to sing along with.
