Album Notes
The internationally renowned mandolinist Marilyn Mair directs the mandolin ensemble Enigmatica, comprised of four mandolins, two mandolas, a mandocello and a guitar. Their music delivers rich sounds of drama, intrigue, beauty and celebration.

The Boston-based mandolin octet is part chamber orchestra and part plucked-string double mandolin quartet who have performed together since 2000.

The repertoire for this, Enigmatica's second CD showcases a variety of Latin American, classical, and contemporary influences. The group's original arrangements showcase the mandolin in a chamber music setting.
