Album Notes
Erica Sunshine Lee's new EP "AIM" fills the gap of today's country music and its story telling, reminiscent of the good old days of 90s country, but with a modern edgy rock flare. Nobody wins in Vegas tells a revenge story of honesty, leaving hard times and finding good luck in SIN CITY, followed by the temptation to make a move in a new relationship. I'd love to love you is a heartfelt conundrum, caught between where you are and where you want to be. Then in "ONE MORE TIME" you don't want to go back, or do you? Makes you think twice about reminiscing on past loves, and in "Maybe" there's real realization of the harsh truth of the obvious, when two people just aren't meant to be together, despite their history. "Think Again" is a gritty edgy number to empower the author and storyteller to ditch the baggage, and move on without the heavy load.
These country rock songs tell a story of loving, leaving and moving on.
What country music's been missing for a while. Heart and soul
