Casual Ghosts

by Eric Peter Schwartz

Quirky, tragic, funny, romantic, nostalgic... I'm never quite sure how to describe this singer/songwriter's brand of folky, acoustic music.

Album Notes
Casual Ghosts is my third album and started life as an swirling mass of unrelated ideas. Slowly these songs began to fall together because they all seemed to explore the nostalgia, hope, desire, loss and fear that float in and out of every day. From the boyhood hope of "When WIll The Sun" (vocals by my teenage son) to the Spaghetti Western drama of young love in "Thorns In His Blood" to the philosophical musings of "Icebergs" and booze soaked desperation of "Through The Floor" the album takes you on an emotional journey through the light and the dark.

"It's impossible to deny the charm oozing out of Eric Peter Schwartz's songs." - Adobe and Teardrops
