If you were to take Cat Stevens with his acoustic guitar and heavily influence him from 90's alternative rock with power chords and jazz, you might have Eric Steffensen: an acoustic rock performer and singer/songwriter who often performs live in Utah as well as through streaming audio and/or video over the internet. He's performed for 5 years to audiences in Second Life as well as in the coffee shop circuit in Salt Lake City.

His voice and acoustic guitar will captivate and take you on an emotional journey from pain and heartbreak to thoughtfulness and reflection, to hilarity and eventually love. Combining influences from rock, folk, blues and classical, Eric creates a sound that is familiar yet unique. In addition to Cat Stevens, His voice is often compared to the likes of John Popper from Blues Traveler and Steven Page from Barenaked Ladies.

Over the next year, Eric plans to start performing much more regionally in the Mountain-West states as well as expanding content through his website at Look for a brand new CD of all new material in 2015.

"an excellent instrumentalist, an accomplished singer and a very strong in the songwriting department" - Traci Nubalo, The Virutal Times

"He is the reason I decided to discover more (about Second Life Music) and one of the reasons I started hosting after a while" Grace Jovinavic - The Rough Giraffe
